My rating hovers between 1,00-1,100 on chess.com. I’ve always had a love-hate relationship with the game. I think most chess players do. It’s a great mirror into your own psyche and thinking. What I find most frustrating is that I make the same type of errors I made when I was in middle school. It sometimes feels like those flaws are part of me.
I play 10 minute rapid games on Chess.com. I aim for four a day. With white, I play the London System or the Queen’s Gambit. With Black I play the French Defense or the Caro-Kahn.
