Here’s my review of the Weston Art Gallery:
The Weston Art Gallery is on the corner of 7th and Walnut. It’s easy to miss. While large, this gallery is easily consumed by the Aronoff Center, but next time you’re downtown, stop in and take a look around.
It’s a great space. The upper floor has a reception area is able to accommodate oversize art pieces. The lower level – although modern and filled with contemporary art – is warm and welcoming.
The staff is also welcoming. I’m always a little hestitant to go to museums anymore because the default mode seems to be patrons are pervs just waiting to defile art with lude behavior so we must stalk them throughout. Not here. You can wander and browse, but easily get informed on a piece if need be.
