Here’s my Yelp review of Virgil’s Cafe:

A restaurant and its food, like a person, can have integrity (or a lack of it).. Many places come up short: they value ambiance over the food or pretension or caring for the diner.

They care about the food and they care about the diner.  I was one of their first tables and have kept going back and have sent friends and clients there.  They all report loving it and wanting to go back.  They like the food but there’s a quality to the restaurant they can never put a finger on.  It’s integrity.  Every meal and dining experience I’ve had there has been honest.  They offer a quality experience without trying to be something they are not…but what they are is pretty damned good.

Virgil’s has integrity.

Also, they are one of the few restaurants I go to without a TV – the bane of my dining experience.
